My painting "Marsh Sunset" will be featured in The Mob show at Thornebrook Gallery in Gainesville.....for only 5 days!! Possibly the shortest show ever. I do hope you get to see it.

p.s. Marsh Sunset is from the important Barrier Islands: Creation of Tide and Time exhibit recently shown at the Florida Museum of Natural History.

The opening of "The Mob", a showing of thirty of the phenomenally talented painters in our area. Each artist will bring in one piece to display for the five day show. Live music will be performed for the opening. A closing party will also be held on Wednesday September 14th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. with live music by Cathy DeWitt. Refreshments will be served. Canaveral Seashore Paintout kick off

We were privileged to receive a ranger-led tour of the Canaveral Seashore National Park today. The above photo was taken from atop Turtle Mound.

How often do you get to look over top of palm trees to the ocean beyond?? Awesome.

I'm excited to be painting on this barrier island to add to the series with Sapelo Island.

fyi....It's coooolllllddddd and WINDYYYYYY. Tuesday and Wednesday, when the weather warms, we'll be painting downtown on Flagler and Canal streets.

The speedier painters will have wet paintings on display (and sale) starting tomorrow.
