Thirty something years ago, we lived in Chapel Hill, NC. Good friend and now fabulous batik artist Phyllis Boger introduced me to painting in watercolor, and the rest is history.
The first time I heard a salesperson say "Y'all come back now!" I took it literally and started to explain how it wasn't likely because..... Her expression was priceless.
While driving through Williamston, NC en route to the Outer Banks recently, I spotted the friendly phrase posted to the left of the door above. I wish it were clearer so you could read it.
