Suwannee River Paintings Too

Suwannee River oil painting copyright Nancy MoskovitzAs promised here are two 14x11 Suwannee River paintings. The bold upper image is available for purchase. The quiet morning light bottom image prompted the lovely testimonial in the previous post.
Suwannee River oil painting copyright Nancy MoskovitzI don't think either are on my website yet. Bad Nancy. Email me if you are interested in the upper image. Note how low the water level is!

Evinston Paint Out 2010

The Evinston Paint Out is a favorite with locals and plein air painters. This homespun no-stoplight town is worth exploring. If you go there, you'll see this house and cows... guaranteed.

As stated at the official Evinston Paint Out link

"The Evinston Paintout will be held April 17-24, 2010. We invite the best landscape painters to come and paint and then sell the artwork in our wetroom gallery located in the Wood & Swink Old Store and Post Office, with proceeds benefitting it's restoration."

Brief pencil portrait slide show

Jasmine is a German short haired pointer who loves hard work. Bred as a hunting dog, she is dark brown with a matching brown nose. A big nose is a plus for this breed.

See more pet portraits on my website. I'm featuring pencil pet portraits for $99 through March 31.

Read about commissioning a portrait from your photo...and...catch some photo tips on Portrait and Fine Arts Paintings website.

Commissioned Banana Tree Oil Painting

Fair Oaks is home to this banana tree scene commissioned as a companion painting to the previous post.

Linda Blondheim recently posted some of her Fair Oaks paintings relays a most colorful piece of history in her Landscapes of the South blog. Timing is everything. Thought you might enjoy the tale and her lovely paintings.

Commission Mission: A Companion Landscape Painting

plein air painting

The pictured bamboo is one of many varieties growing at the beautiful Kanapaha Bontanical Gardens in Gainesville, FL. .... about 40 minutes north of my home. It's also where I got the reference for the painting Banana Jewel.

Above is a work in progress on location just for the fun of seeing painting and place. Click to see the finished painting. That bamboo and a commissioned companion painting now add to the ambiance of a Gainesville law office.

Got a great idea? Let's brainstorm.
