Staying at Mike's Fish Camp during the Evinston Paint Out let me soak in the ambiance; morning light, noon, evening, night, clouds, bugs, alligators, cranes, fisherman coming and going at all hours. The boater appeared as I was finishing this afternoon scene. I took a mental snapshot and painted him in. This was my last painting of the event. I like it.
